LOUISE BENTHAM qualified as a Chartered Accountant before joining the Dixons Group in 1994. She wanted to move into a big blue chip company which offered more opportunities to move around and that's exactly what the Dixons Group gave her. Having experienced a variety of different areas of the business in her 8 years here, Louise is now Director of Employee Reward in Hemel Hempstead.

I've been given opportunities in Corporate Development and Finance, amongst others, and I'm looking forward to my new role which will be on a part-time basis. I'm providing a vital support service to the business, benchmarking salaries, bonuses and remuneration at all levels across the Group as well as revamping our grading system. One of the best things about working here is the strength of the management team. Many have been here for several years and have a vast experience of retail. There's a real culture of moving quickly with an idea and beating the competition - the creation of Freeserve is a good example.'
